Summary

I was born in London and raised in a village in Ireland just outside of Dublin, from before I could speak I was drawing monsters and imagining the worlds that they inhabit.

I learned Design from my father (a landscape architect) and an appreciation for the world we live in from my mother, (a special needs teacher). With my parents’ unique outlook on life, I learned to see the world through a special lens, by slowing down to appreciate the view or to capture a moment in time by painting it.

I studied fine art at university before I packed my bags and headed to the UK to join the Royal Marines. It was the most physically demanding infantry training course in the world and I wanted to challenge myself. During this time, I began to document my experiences through sketching, journaling and Photography. My stories were quickly noticed and featured on ETCHR labs (an outdoor painting website), and I became a professional ambassador for their outdoor painting equipment.

Having already travelled the globe, I continued to explore an additional 4 continents with a camera in hand, capturing the plains of South Africa, the Himalayas and the Great Wall of China.

After studying in Australia, I returned to my Concept Art studies by enrolling in the Concept Art program at Vancouver Film School, where I am honing my skills under the guidance of professional mentors.

When I’m not travelling, sketching or photographing the world I am a human servant to my miniature panther, Nala the Bombay cat.
